Brentwood School is hosting a (free) special tournament just for girls fairly new to tournament chess on Sunday 24th April. It is organised with She Plays To Win (She Plays To Win). Please email me for details.
Over Easter Weekend, the traditional Southend Congress returns for the (very) serious players.

On Sunday 26th June, the Essex Junior Chess Association is organising a tournament for Essex Juniors at Moulsham Junior School in Chelmsford. Save the date!
