It was great to see so many from CJCC playing in Colchester on 24th September. You'll see Nithilan, Jeremy and Joshua K among the winners.
Chelmsford Junior Chess Club exists to give junior chess players in Chelmsford of all ages and strengths the chance to play and learn chess in a fun and safe environment. Players will have the chance to make new chess-playing friends while getting some coaching to guide them on their chess path. The blog exists to promote Chelmsford Junior Chess Club in particular and junior chess in Chelmsford and Essex in general.

CJCC at Brentwood's FIDE August Bank Holiday tournament
I was involved with organising a 3-day FIDE (internationally-rated) tournament at Brentwood School over August Bank Holiday for adults and juniors with a FIDE standard play rating of 1500+.
Alongside this, we ran a 1-day rapid play tournament for adults and juniors split into two sections on rating - one open to all, one for players unrated or below 1300 ECF.
It was great to see CJCC juniors stepping up to take part and even better to see them among the prizes.
