Through August, CJCC will meet each Thursday morning. Please get in touch to book your place if you have not already done so.

Professional photographer Melinda Wilde will be along this week with her camera.

Plenty of other chess going on as well. All is listed on this live document link

Right at the end of August, Brentwood School is hosting a one-day tournament for juniors and adults split into rating sections (enter the U1300 if you do not have a rating).

ChessFest and CJCC

ChessFest 2022 in Trafalgar Square was fabulous (if hot).

Brilliant to see the whole of Trafalgar Square filled with giant and regular chess sets, living chess and a big screen to show all the action.

A few current and former CJCC players were there to enjoy it. Photos below of me losing in the sunshine courtesy of Huzaifa's and Grace's mums.

Suitably Mediterranean weather for outdoor chess but back indoors this Saturday for CJCC.
