Pictures from 19th April

It was the younger players this week. Ollie (our club champion) kindly came along to challenge 6 of the players to a simultaneous match. Due to a combination of some good chess (nice checkmate Max) and incessant chatter the younger players surprisingly managed to win more games than Ollie. Hopefully he’ll recover in time for his birthday tomorrow.

Good luck to our players taking part in the junior tournament in Colchester on Sunday. Below are some photos from today.
